We first chose to call The Neighborhood Builders (TNB) after seeing the Neighborhood at 86th (in Johnston). We love the variety of that work and wanted a 'different' house. We designed our own and then worked with an architect (through TNB) to get it right. That process went so smoothly. I loved being able to correspond through email, as well as via phone. I was impressed from the start with Jake Ried. He walked through every step of the process throughout the year (planning to completion) that it took. Always returning my calls and emails and doing a great job making things run smoothly. He was so willing to work with us, and help us figure out what we could afford. Jennifer Ried has also been fabulous to work with. She is great at working with the contractors and making sure all of the final touches were done. She will keep you on task and I think you'll find her guidance invaluable.

The Neighborhood Builders completed our new home in June, 2008. This was only our second home and first to build. One year later, I would still absolutely not hesitate to recommend them as your next builder. In fact, if you've met me, you've probably heard me say you should hire them if you're going to build. I am very proud to tell people that The Neighborhood Builders built our home; and I am also proud to call Jake and Jennifer personal friends to this day."
